Pacific Moonlight

Description

I love long exposure time. Somehow it makes the Pacific looking as calm as a sleeping baby. I don't think this shot is perfect at all but I didn't want to keep that shot back from you. If anyone have some ideas how to make it better. Please feel free to tell me!

Thanks for the comment buddy. You really made me thinking about that picture.
Actually I wanted to have the moon like it is because I often tried to get the sun on my shots like that and so I was really excited to have this effect you can see there but to have correct exposed moon in the picture with the same ocean could probably be nice to. I guess I'll try that next weekend on the beach.

I wouldn't say that the beach is a distraction. I like it to have for the idyll of the picture. Especially all the dead trees are giving the picture more calmness. For shure the long exposed water actually does it when I cut the beach part, I don't like the picture anymore.

As for the top of the picture I have to agree with you. I should have cut a little bit of the sky. That would create a panorama effect which would be very nice for that shot.
When I took the shot I didn't watched at the sky actually. My plan was to get the change over of water and sand in the bottom right corner. I wouldn't like to change that so I guess cutting would be the better decision.

I hope we'll see each other in the States too. I'll be in your near in the winter. Hope our cameras can deal with cool temperatures. ;)
